There was a line. But it moved fairly fast. I called in an order but still had to wait in line at the drive they. So that was pointless lol Food was good and fresh. I ordered 3 steak tacos. The green sauce on the side was banging. Not too hot where you couldn't eat it. Just enough pop I will go back when I want ya is right quick.

If you're looking for a place where your cravings can go wild and your wallet won't feel the heat, Taco in the Box is IT. Don't let the sketchy surroundings fool you--what lies on the other side of that drive-thru window is pure magic. The menu is stacked with options: tacos (duh), quesadillas, burgers, fries--basically, if you can dream it, they can wrap it up and serve it piping hot. Oh, and the portions? HUGE. You'll leave with a full belly and maybe a little snack for later if you play your cards right. Sure, it's not exactly in a prime location, but trust me--it's worth every mile. Sometimes the best eats are found off the beaten path, and Taco in the Box is proof of that. Grab your keys, hit the road, and thank me later. Just be ready to roll into a food coma afterward!

My office recently relocated from a downtown location and I was disappointed b/c the choice for lunch options dropped significantly. I happen to pass this place coming back from lunch one day and I thought, hmmm, I should try it. I'll try anything once...Not in the greatest of locations, its an off the beaten path location and a drive thru restaurant only, but so far, I'm completely impressed by the food. I had the steak tacos and a small fries and it was so good. The fries were a thicker cut and were not greasy. The steak taco was delicious - overstuffed and flavorful. I can't wait to try more options from the menu...it all looks/sounds so good! I should say also add that their drink options were plentiful! I wish they had more sugar free options, but the options will make alot of people happy!

So, this little gem is close to where I work. Had I not worked on that side of town, I never would have known about this place. It's a drive thru and they probably take walk-ups too. You cannot enter this place, so know you'll be taking your food home. Se habla espanol todos. Lol. I always order the adobada chicken (with no cheese) Torta with extra onions, peppers, and cilantro. The "peppers" are actually jalepenos!! All veggies are chargrilled on the hot flat top grill and are super fresh. The sandwich is huge and it usually takes me two meals to eat it. The box doesn't even close. My favorite is their green sauces!!! OMGEEEE!!! I always get 3 green sauces for $1.00 extra. I've been there so much, the chic at the window knows my order and smiles at me now! I'm always there!

GLAWWWWRY !!! Drive-Thru tacos ... So I've been here a few times since they opened and have tried different things they offer, they are drive-thru only and do have a walk up window. They are not really close to where most other restaurants are, but if you are in the neighborhood they have some good options on their simple menu. The menu doesn't really have a ton of options and some things aren't really Mexican like the wings and fries, but there are a couple of items I do come back for. My favorite items here are the chicken Fajita Tacos and the Premium Steak Fries, which isn't really Mexican I guess, but they are great. They make a good Grilled Chicken Salad also. The Chicken Fajita tacos are your choice of corn or flour tortilla filled with grilled chicken, onions and peppers topped with cheese that has been grilled on the flat top until it has a little brown on it, they are so good with the hot sauce and green sauce. The Premium Steak Fries are a big plate of fries topped with grilled steak and cup of cheese sauce on the side, I mix the green sauce in the cheese sauce, they are really good. They offer tortas also, the one I had was really good, but they use regular sub rolls and not the traditional football shaped bread like real tortas usually are on. I return often for the fajita tacos, definitely worth checking out if you find yourself in their neighborhood.
